Aerosmith to ZZ Top: A Dad and Daughter’s Rock & Roll Journey

(09/28/2021) - Terry and Moira Armstrong will talk about their new book,

Aerosmith to ZZ Top: A Dad and Daughter's Rock & Roll Journey
,

at 3 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 23, at the Howland Library, 9095 East Market Street. The father and daughter Rock-and-Roll fans share their journey spanning 27,000 miles, 200-plus performers, and 58 unique venues in their book. Their story includes concerts, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Graceland, and their hometown of Warren, Ohio. At the heart of their story is an exploration of the deeper power and meaning of the Rock genre and its ability to transform memory, as well as the kindness of so many performers and fellow fans. Their experience just may inspire you to seek out new musical memories of your own! Five guests will be selected in a random drawing following the presentation to each receive a free copy of the book. Registration is required; call the Howland Library at (330) 856-2011 to register.
