(2/11/2025) – Darryl Rodgers, of Warren, has been appointed by the Trumbull County Commissioners to the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Board of Trustees. Rodgers will fill the term left vacant by Franklin Manios, who resigned from the board after 17 years of dedicated service. Rodgers is a Coordinator/Administrator for the Trumbull County Drug Court. He is active in the community, serving on the boards for Trumbull County Community Corrections, Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority, Trumbull County Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, and Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation. The seven-member Board of Trustees is responsible for guiding Warren-Trumbull County Public Library direction and policies. Four library board members are appointed by the county commissioners and three by the judges of the Common Pleas Court. All appointees serve unpaid, seven-year terms. Current Library board members in addition to Rodgers are: Melissa Lattanzi, president; Michael McGee, vice president; Donald Emerson, Jr., secretary; James Duff, Paulette Edington, and Karen Scher. Board meetings are typically held at 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Warren Library.
